First post

Welp, I spent way more time than I meant to tinkering with Hugo. It’s pretty neat. It may inspire me to write more. We’ll see. I’m generally more of a lurker online. I may have a lot to say in conversation, but not necessarily a lot to shout into the void.

I do need to get some actual work done today, so I’m going to stop tinkering now. Things that I’d like to change that I’ve noticed so far include:

• Post content isn’t included in the rss feed.
• Documentation has shortcodes for embedding from twitter and youtube, but not mastodon or peertube.

I’m sure that both of those are easy fixes.

The theme I’m playing with includes a way to set up comments via github. As much as I enjoyed feedback via comments back in the day, moderating comments on the modern web sounds like a nightmare.
